How it works
Walk in or send it insured. No appointment needed for battery work.
The case is opened under magnification and the movement and seals assessed.
Fresh cell and gaskets fitted, then the case is closed to factory torque.
Water resistance confirmed and the reading noted before it's handed back.
Why it matters
Opening a case exposes the movement to air, dust, and moisture. Most jewelers snap the back on and hand it over. Without a fresh gasket and a pressure test, a watch rated for the pool can fail at the sink.
That's why pressure testing is standard here, never an upsell. You leave knowing exactly how water-resistant your watch is today, not how it was rated years ago.
Pricing
The rates below apply to battery replacement service. Your calibre and water-resistance rating determine the appropriate battery service, and you'll always approve it before we begin.
Rolex, Cartier, and other screw-down cases may carry a battery-service premium for specialist seals. Quoted before work begins.
Questions
No. Battery and pressure testing are walk-in services. After inspecting the watch, the watchmaker will explain the appropriate service and any needed testing.
The test itself uses specialist equipment and a full cycle of dry and wet measurement. A plain battery swap on a non-water-resistant dress watch doesn't require it, so we don't charge for what your watch doesn't need.
Yes. Our watchmakers are WOSTEP certified and hold brand authorizations. Screw-down and specialist cases are opened with the correct tooling and resealed to factory specification.
If a fresh cell doesn't bring it back, the movement likely needs service. We'll diagnose it on the spot and credit the battery toward a full overhaul if you choose to proceed.
